SAMBA 2.0.6 vs HP's ASU/9000 LanMan (battle rages on)
...nf's line back to "server", same password works.
If anyone's interested, let me know, and I'll bounce you a -d 10 logs from both the smbd and the smbdclient (With stripping of the dates as was requested :) )

OpenSSH and HP-UX
...#39;configure' on this system warns that rsa is not available. I found
source at www.spinnaker.com which builds an rsaref.a library but not an
RSAglue one. So I'm stuck with the failed link of ssh. Help?

Compiling SAMBA 2.0.5a on HP-UX 11
...in the full run of the configure script, with a lot of
"no" as it checked for files, but I'd rather not do that unless someone
requests it.

ssh-agent and rdist
...asks for a passphrase. This breaks parallel rdist
updates. Oddly, if I manually do 'ssh -l myname A rdistd -S' on B,
rdistd starts fine.
ssh_config and sshd_config are identical on A and B.
