Console options set for TF2 are: -nod3d9ex -dxlevel 81 -noforcemaccel -noforcemparms -noforcemspd -console -novid -noipx -nojoy -window TF2 starts fine, but crashes immediately after all of the game assets have loaded upon trying to join a server (that is, as soon as the game is about to display 3D graphics).
