Tinc OSPF involving bridge
...he quickest available of two routes (both routes at both ends connect to Quagga boxes to prevent collisions).
One of the routes involves connecting over a wireless bridge (which can't be set to routed mode) and the other connects over a routed wireless connection.
i.e.
LAN A OSPF --- W/less (NOIP) --- Wireless (NOIP) --- LAN B OSPF
+-- W/less 1.1.1.1 --- W/less 1.1.1.2 --+
This is basically to allow redundancy of the NOIP wireless, which drops at the first hint of fog or mist. :-)
Is it possible to configure Tinc to connect over one of two possible routes like this?

Try a free or paid DDNS service like noip.com ? just remember to port forward to your server address on the lan with the port you use for icecast

Curious problem with NAT

an external provider, I'd like to add a new feature and allow my mobile phone
to connect to my Asterisk and manage calls.
Well, first of all, my Asterisk is NOT direct on Internet available, but
behind a NAT.
So I configured my sip.conf:
localnet=192.168.200.0/24
externhost=myhost.noip.com
externrefresh=180
Then I added the peer in my users.con:

Completely automatic yum updating on Centos 6
I am about to set up a computer with Centos 6 that I'll probably never see
again. I don't want to give out the root password, but I would like to have it
automatically and transparently update itself.
What is the best way to do this? I have been looking at webpages about yum-cron
and yum-updatesd but nothing directly addresses Centos 6 and it appears that at
least one of those two

Xen 3.4.2 networking help

looking online and it seems a I need a routed network. But I am having a
terrible time implementing it.
My setup:

Using Icecast relay function with dynamic IP at remote source end
...just using a simple source client connecting directly to our
icecast server for years. These being a simple free solution. Also works
with other free and paid for products too. Your milage will varry with
each program, and what features it will offers.
For dynamic IPs you can use a service like noip.com. There are a few of
them to choose from. IT allow you to give your machine on the dynamic ip a
host name so you can find it.
