Impossible to encode this file in sync
Hi all,
I am unable, using ffmpeg2theora 0.26, to encode this mpeg file in
theora without audio/video sync problems :
http://dl.rom1v.com/noindex/test.mpg
The file works correctly using vlc or mplayer, but totem has sync
problems for playing it.
For information, it is a TV stream I recorded using :
vlc "rtsp://mafreebox.freebox.fr/fbxtv_pub/stream?namespace=1&service=201&flavour=sd" ":sout=#std{access=file,mux=ps,dst...

Async Query Directory (for VFS)

Async directory listing is certainly doable with a few weeks of work for
someone really familiar with Samba internals.
Another thing you could try would be enabling spotlight on the server
with the default noindex backend. Maybe the presence of *real* Spotlight
on the server is enough to keep the client from falling back to what is
likely the server-doesnt-support-spotlight mode.

SELinux policy vs. static web content
...Some time ago I wrote an introductory article about SELinux on my blog.
I'm currently updating it for my new blog, and I found a curious change
in SELinux policy. Here goes.
For demonstration purposes, I'm using some static webpages, more exactly
the default pages found in /usr/share/httpd/noindex, which I simply
copied over to /var/www/html.
As a first practical example, I'm copying this stuff over to /tmp/backup
and then move it back again. A vaguely similar example has been given by
Thomas Cameron in his presentation "SELinux for mere mortals", and I'm
reproducing it he...

FreeBSD Ports, remotefile() problem
Howdy,
Found out about this project while looking for via ONLamp''s FreeBSD
build system article. After finding cfengine a tad arcane, this project
seems like a good fit for my setup. I''m still at the tinkering phase,
but I envision this thing bootstrapping and maintaining several FreeBSD
installs which have different CPU''s and packages.
The Good News:

Note that it is possible for there to be changes that aren't listed in
the changelog, nobody's perfect. If you want to know for sure exactly
what has changed then look up the package...

Async Query Directory (for VFS)
Hi, is there a branch, patch or other attempts I can look at for async processing of SMB2 QUERY_DIRECTORY? Looking online I see proposals from years ago for making everything async but I don't know what happened to it?
In my use case, I don't care as much about impersonation and security as it's being used for client only loopback on Mac, process running as the logged in user. I have

I would like to import a database of web robots,

Help for bootstrapping
I have a set of data for US t-bill returns and US stock returns frm 1980-2012. I am trying to bootstrap the data and obtain the minimum variance portfolio and repeat this portfolio 1000 times. However I am unable to get the correct code function for the minimum variance portfolio. When I tried to enter Opt(OriData+1, 1, 5, 0), I get "error:subscript out of bounds" Please help!
