Starcraft 2 Patch Issues
Hey everybody, relatively new Linux and Wine user here, and I'm having some issues with Starcraft 2.
I'm able to download Starcraft 2 just fine. My issues are with the patches. Once I try to start up Starcraft, it goes to the patching window as it normally does in Windows. However, after a couple of seconds, the window just closes. I've tried running the Blizzard Updater.exe, but

tinc and zlib compression
I set out to add compression to tinc, so it whould chuck the data through zlib
before encrypting, and get the real stuff back after decryption on the other
side.
Unfortunately, I ran out of time. The compress/decompress stuff should work,
but config stuff needs to be finished. Sorry for the sloppy, unfinished work,
I only hope its somehow useful to you guys anyway.

To whomever reads this,
This post I accidentally sent to david himself, I am now sending it to the group. It will be out of order, and includes the strace.

ogg123 playing 24bit flac
Hi!
Recently I made some recordings (44.1kH/24bit WAV), and after post-processing (normalization, noide reduction) I saved them as flac (still 44.1kHz/24bit).
I noticed that ogg123 can decode these, but it will output 24 bit only. Specifically there's no option to transform the output to 16bit.
When trying to pipe the 24bit WAV output of ogg123 into aplay, aplay refused to accept the 24 bit strea...

following features:
+ based on a config-file with different mac-addresses + configuration.
eg.:
[00:0a:0b:0c:0d:0e]
kickstart = ks-proxy.cfg
ip-address = 10.1.2.3
netmask = 255.255.255.0
gateway = 10.1.2.1
nameserver = 10.2.3.4
interface = eth1
boot-options = hda=noide panic=30
[default]
kickstart = ks-dhcp.cfg
boot-options = panic=30
+ the syslinux program would then parse this file, use the correct
section (based on any or all mac-addresses) and convert variables in
this kickstart-file by its values.
eg. ks-proxy.cfg

DTMF duplicated when Waitexten
Hello,
I have a problem of DTMF duplication.
I receive call from my provider with SIP protocol. These calls pass
through an interactive voice menu, using the application Waitexten to
enter a client code. The menu works fine, but sometimes I have DTMF
duplication that prevent proper code entry. All DTMF come twice.

no menu.c32, no problem...
Fellow syslinux fans,
I'm using syslinux on a boot floppy (I'll call this syslinux A) to
invoke an etherboot image (zlilo style) which invokes a tagged NBI
image from my DHCP/TFTP server. The tagged NBI image is created using
mknbi-dos and also uses syslinux (I'll call this syslinux B), a linux
kernel and an initrd file.
It works perfectly if syslinux A has a basic .CFG, e.g.:

Hi Rowland,
I see this in the ZFS props, if that’s related, you might be referring to something in ext3 that im not aware of at the moment.

pool/myshare acltype off default
So, if you heard that I was going to use

Im having an issue with what I believe might be pinned down to a need for a
proper samba configuration.
The problem: sparse writes (not sure which, either write sparse files to a
system that doesn't support them, or vice versa)
The system:
Zfs-on-linux, samba share
Accessing system which is erroring:
Win7x64_ult, freefilesync

So, yeah, that may have fixed im for the time being not getting the sparse errors, for the first time in 4 months, however, there is a couple other problems, so hopefully they

Hi David,
Configured as you mention, and prior with the other tweaks I had in the first place, Im getting the same results, which is "FSUTIL utility requires a Local NTFS Volume", and mapping it.
I then went to contig, `contig -n X:\share\sparesefile 0`, as well as a few other size. Maybe im using it wrong, but some testing on contig has only "Access is denied" when I try
