Zip drive as a read-only medium
Does anyone have any experience using a zip drive as a read-only medium for
storing things like tripwire files, PGP signed keys and kernels? Is there
a way to switch it to read/write mode without ejecting it?

Building a http query string including SMBIOS Serial Number to load a specific kernel
Hello folks,
There is a way to get the system serial number from SMBIOS and pass it
as HTTP query string to get the kernel and initrd?
Something like this:
