tftpd-hpa suggestions
Hello, Peter and others!
there are some issues regarding the tftp-hpa server:
1. Running as Windows service seems to require that the application does
not detach (otherwise "net start" says smth. like "could not start,
the service didn't report any errors").
The attached patch adds the option "-n", which can be used to have
tftpd run in foreground.

any one interesting develop a gui app for tinc
Hi devs,
I am a tinc user use tinc at windows every day, I use a bat file to start
tinc in nodetach mode, and dig the problem when the network sucks.
Is there any one interesting to develop a gui control app like for openvpn?

...manager could use one. I didn't even
realize tinc was available for Windows until I read this.

How automatically set group.devices.allow for libvirt-lxc container after start ?
...container, be root:
#mknod /dev/ppp c 108 0
4) inside container (or from hardware node, no difference) run:
# echo "c 108:0 rwm" >
/sys/fs/cgroup/devices/machine.slice/machine-lxc\\x2d${PID}\\x2d${CONTAINER_NAEM}scope/devices.allow
5) Now pppd work inside lxc:
#pppd call reuters debug nodetach
using channel 1
Using interface ppp0
Connect: ppp0 <--> /dev/pts/2
sent [LCP ConfReq id=0x1 <mru 1000> <asyncmap 0x0> <magic 0x567d90ae>]
...
But such method has several drawbacks.
1) I do not want to give cap_mknod, no need extra holes. With
cap_mknod you can make /de/bloc...

New created users can not log in
Hi,
I am using dovecot 2.2 for some time. All users on the system can log in
using Horde Webmail.
But now, after creating a new user on the server with <useradd -m
username> this new user is not able to log in. Of course I have set a
password for the new user.
In the log file I can see:
Sep 16 23:04:05 servername auth: gkr-pam: error looking up user information

group change causing failure
OK, I searched through the archives and didn't find anything so I must be
doing something stupid.
I just compiled 2.6.3 and am trying to get it to run on linux 2.6.8.1 kernel
with a more or less fedora core2 environment. I was trying between two
systems but I have narrowed it down to what I believe is a pretty simple
case. Here is my setup/test:
