Incomming call line identification (NOT CallerID)
...ted to this PRI line. Customer wants to have a way to have shown on the receptionist phone that the call comes from which of the 3 tool-free lines. Possibly display on the phone that the call comed from tool-free number 1, 2 ou 3 or even better a name or text id associated with this tool-free nmber. This is not callerID but rather identify what tool-free number the caller dialed in order to reach the PBX through the PRI line. Any helps or hints appreciated. -- ---- Andre -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Anti-Virus. Version: 7.0.344 / Virus Database: 267....

Sweeping a zoo series

Is there a elegant way to do this short of creating a "sweep zoo" that matches the row d...

Some performance questions with ZFS/NFS/DNLC at snv_48
Hello. We''re currently using a Sun Blade1000 (2x750MHz, 1G ram, 2x160MB/s mpt scsi buses, skge GigE network) as a NFS backend with ZFS for distribution of free software like Debian (cdimage.debian.org, ftp.se.debian.org) and have run into some performance issues. We are running SX snv_48 and have run with a raidz2 with 7x300G for a while now, just added another 7x300G raidz2 today but

Help with 'spectrum'
For the command 'spectrum' I read: The spectrum here is defined with scaling 1/frequency(x), following S-PLUS. This makes the spectral density a density over the range (-frequency(x)/2, +frequency(x)/2], whereas a more common scaling is 2? and range (-0.5, 0.5] (e.g., Bloomfield) or 1 and range (-?, ?]. Forgive my ignorance but I am having a hard time interpreting this. Does this mean

'Traditional' Faxing
Hi all, the company I work for has an aging Digital PBX attached to an E1. This PBX has a few analogue lines, one of which we use a 'traditional' fax machine on. I want to upgrade our PBX and Asterisk is almost a perfect fit. The only problem I can't seem to find a working solution for is Faxing. I don't want to use Hylafax or other similar methodologies. I believe there
