[Bridge] [PATCH net-next 01/16] net: bridge: Set strict_start_type at two policies
Make any attributes newly-added to br_port_policy or vlan_tunnel_policy parsed strictly, to prevent userspace from passing garbage. Note that this patchset only touches the former policy. The latter was adjusted for completeness' sake. There do not appear to be other _deprecated calls with non-NULL policies. Suggested-by: Ido Schimmel <idosch at nvidia.com> Signed-off-by: Petr Machata

[BUG?] ip ru flush && RTNETLINK answers: Numerical result out of range
After an: # ip ru flush I loose all my ip rules but the priority 0 one. root@sarasvati:~# ip ru 0: from all lookup 255 root@sarasvati:~# Ok with that, but now i''m not able to insert any new rule. This leads to a total loose of conectivity. root@sarasvati:~# ip ru add from all table default RTNETLINK answers: Numerical result out of range root@sarasvati:~# ip ru add from all

[Bridge] [PATCHv4 net-next 0/2] Add two new flags to bridge.
The following series adds 2 new flags to bridge. One flag allows the user to control whether mac learning is performed on the interface or not. By default mac learning is on. The other flag allows the user to control whether unicast traffic is flooded (send without an fdb) to a given unicast port. Default is on. Changes since v4: - Implemented Stephen's suggestions. [Bridge] [RFC PATCH net-next 0/5] Add layer 2 miss indication and filtering
tl;dr ===== This patchset adds a single bit to the skb to indicate that a packet encountered a layer 2 miss in the bridge and extends flower to match on this metadata. This is required for non-DF (Designated Forwarder) filtering in EVPN multi-homing which prevents decapsulated BUM packets from being forwarded multiple times to the same multi-homed host. Background ========== In a typical EVPN

[Bridge] [PATCHv2 0/4] macvlan: add vepa and bridge mode
Second version, all feedback so far addressed, thanks for the help and interest! The patch to iproute2 has not changed, so I'm not including it this time. Patch 4/4 (the netlink interface) is basically unchanged as well but included for completeness. The other changes have moved forward a bit, to the point where I find them a lot cleaner and am more confident in the code being ready for

[Bridge] [PATCHv3 0/4] macvlan: add vepa and bridge mode
Not many changes this time, just integrated a bug fix and all the coding style feedback from Eric Dumazet and Patrick McHardy. I'll keep the patch for network namespaces on the tx path out of this series for now, because the discussion is still ongoing and it addresses an unrelated issue. --- Version 2 description: The patch to iproute2 has not changed, so I'm not including it this

implementation of IEEE 802.1Qbg in lldpad
Hi, this set of patches contains the initial implementation of the IEEE 802.1Qbg standard: code for the exchange of EVB TLVs in LLDP frames to negotiate VSI capabalities as well as VDP VSI TLVs between a host with virtual machines and an adjacent switch. It supports setting the parameters of the TLV exchange from the command line using lldptool. VDP profiles consisting of
