MacOS X Quartz Rendering?
...ines knotted
together. Moreover, the spline joints are rounded, which requires computing two
circles and intersecting them 26 times at each bend.
Is there some reason why the point-markers are not just drawn as circles or
squares, instead of doing these complicated and time-consuming knots?

Prime Numbers Pkgs - Schoolmath is broken
...the following unsuccessfully:
primeFactors() in the R.basic package failed to install.
primes() and primlist are broken in Schoolmath pkg on CRAN.
My analysis can be found here http://j.mp/9BNI9q
Not sure what the procedure is for getting things fixed, so I've cross-posted to r-dev as well.

SunOS data time problem?
...Dev Studio will prompt
that the files that are loaded in the project have been modified, would I
like to reload: yes/no. I have the same setup on a Linux server and
do not get the same effects.
Is this a confusion on the file accessed vs. modified times?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
