plotting multivariate data and lm()
Dear list,
I have a problem with plotting multivariate data and models.
I suppose the answer is obvious for experienced users but I didn't find it
looking in usual documentation or in the mail archive...
Let's say I use a dataset like :
a <- sort(round(rnorm(90),3))
niv <- factor(c(rep('B',30), rep('E', 30), rep('H',30)),labels=c('B','E','H'))
cl3 <- factor(rep(sequence(1:3),15))
mat <- cbind(a,niv,cl3)
let's say I want a model like :
mod <- lm(a~niv*cl3) #silly, just for example

the function glm does not have an option to place a family of this kind I'm
about, because if I had, it would be easy, made that my goal is simple, just
wanting to compare the treatments. For that you have an idea, here is an
example of my database.

Maybe its time to find include new contributors ?
If no one has time to review the patch, perhaps giving Niv Sardi a commit
access is the right answer ? Not necessarily for an immediate stable release,
but, hey, commiting them somewhere would help users testing, reporting, etc..
I do not know if Niv Sardi is interested and can have a mid/long term
commitement to maintaining this code but I am sure at...

[PATCHES] Smartjog PatchDump
Hello,
I work at SmarctJog.com, we have here some patches on IceCast for
performance and reliability, these are mostly client/connection/source
cleanups (a slave merge is underway, and some more good stuff (c)),
but we'd like this to be merged in before the list gets any longer.
Please find attached a list of our patches with a short desc:

cplx NA
If there are other strings in the column it makes the column character so
most people will not notice

'data.frame': 4 obs. of 1 variable:
$ V1: Factor w/ 4 levels "i","ii","iii",..: 1 2 3 4
Is this intended? It surprised me.

modified version of Icecast. We would like to contribute back those patchs,
and hopefully have them merged in the official repository. I have posted
them on the patch tracker, so feel free to leave a comment on them.
Some of those patch are based on the work done by Niv Sardi (see
