[Bug 557] New: Makefile doesn't need to link agains libnsl
...efile, i have checked with iptables-1.3.7 and svn (rev 6786)
versions that iptables will compile cleanly on linux i386 without linking on
libnsl. Can you please remove it from Makefile then? or any other reason why
it's there.
recursive grep doesn't show matches on "yp_" or "nis_" functions in iptables
code (*.c *.h).

(***) voila, I patched more getenv()s than I reported in my post:
MALLOC_*, NIS_*; I have to admit I do know whether I did it because
I found they were harmful or because I was too lazy to verify they
were safe...
