I'm not subscribed to this list, but I have been reading the archive online for awhile now. I thought this forward may be of interest. It sounds like we _might_ have Vorbis capable players in the near future! :) Any more word on support from iRiver? Hello, When I run portupgrade -ra and PHP needs upgrading I am faced with having to select all the options I want PHP compiled with (again). I hate this. How can I continually compile PHP with the same options as the last time? Thanks! Rick

Hi list, since we activated 10gbe on ixgbe cards + jumbo frames(9k) on 9.0 and now on 9.1 we recognize that after a random period of time, sometimes a week, sometimes only a day, the system doesn't send any packets out. The phenomenon is that you can't login via ssh, nfs and istgt is not operative. Yet you can login on the console and execute commands. A clean shutdown isn't possible

According to various posts the LSI SAS3081E-R seems to work well with OpenSolaris. But I''ve got pretty chilled-out from my recent problems with Areca-1680''s. Could anyone please confirm that the LSI SAS3081E-R works well ? Is hotplug supported ? Anything else I should know before buying one of these cards ? Thanks, Arnaud

Hi list, can somebody fix the bug that the device ixN is missing when the cable mainly the SFP+ module isn't inserted during boot?! Today I connected a new server to our storage system which has 3 ixgbe cards so 6 ports and is freebsd 9 based. Then I have noticed that the link is missing and the free ports were missing from ifconfig. Checking the dmesg revealed the problem. ixN: Hardware
