glusterfs, ganesh, and pcs rules
Hi,
I've just created again the gluster with NFS ganesha. Glusterfs version 3.8
When I run the command gluster nfs-ganesha enable - it returns a success.
However, looking at the pcs status, I see this:

Current DC: tlxdmz-nfs2 (version 1.1.16-12.el7_4.5-94ff4df) - partition

Hi,
In your ganesha-ha.conf do you have your virtual ip adresses set something like this?:
VIP_tlxdmz-nfs1="192.168.22.33"
VIP_tlxdmz-nfs2="192.168.22.34"

I checked, and I have it like this:

# The gluster server from which to mount the shared data volume.
HA_VOL_SERVER="tlxdmz-nfs1"

nfs client kerberos cache
Greetings,
Not sure if this is the correct mail list.
I have the following test environment set up:
- 1x ipa master = ipa1.example.com
- 1x nfs server = nfs1.example.com
- 1x nfs client = nfsclient1.example.com
NFS version 4 is used and the appropriate Kerberos principal has been
created in IPA:
[root at nfs1 ~]# ipa service-show nfs/nfs1.example.com at EXAMPLE.COM

Multiple Services on one Server
...e = and the include statement to
bring in another smb.conf file but I don't think I'm on the right track.
Like I said, a newbie question.
Can anyone tell me if what I'm trying to
do is possible in samba. An example of what I wish to do is:
\\NFS1\disk1
\\NFS1\disk2
\\NFS2\code
\\NFS3\source
Basically I wish to have services called
NFS1, NFS2, NFS3 running all from one box and only being capable of getting
into "disk1" if I'm mapped to service NFS1, accessing "code" if...

If we force rsize to a smaller value, 32kB, the problem goes away and
we're back around 70/80 mB/s read performance.

It seems that the NFS client is "waiting" between requests:

NFS / DNS problem
Hi all,
Today we have had a strange problem that has taken down our website, we
understand what happened but not why so I am hoping someone has seen
this before.
We have our web servers (web1 web2 web3 ..... web10) mounting an NFS
share (/export/data) from server nfs1. On the web server side we use
autofs in the format nfs-dedicated:/export/data where nfs-dedicated is
an alias in our internal DNS servers pointing to server nfs1. We run a
primary and a secondary DNS (bind) server ns0, ns1 authoritative for our
zones and our webservers have them configured in...

mounted NFS does not show in df -h
Hey guys,
This is kind of odd, so I wanted to do a sanity check.
I mounted an NFS share like so:
[root at web1:~] #mount -t nfs nfs1.jokefire.com:/home /mnt/home
Seemed to go ok. Then I took a look at the output of df -h and didn't see
it!

CentOS 6: files now owned by nobody:nobody
Hi,
We are running a cluster under CentOS 6.6. We recently attached a new
NAS device, running CentOS 6.8 and rsync'd our user file system to it.
We noticed that all the files were owned by nobody (with nobody as the
group). We copied over the /etc/passwd and /etc/group files from our
front-end server to our NAS server. If we log in to the NAS server we
see the files owned by their

iSCSI root
As promised, here''s what I did to get iSCSI root running under XenU under Debian 3.1 (Sarge):
Be running linux 2.6 under XenU.
Build XenU with SCSI disk support (I did them as modules)
Get linux-iscsi 4.0.1.8 from http://sourceforge.net/projects/linux-iscsi/
Build it according to the instructions there (i found it a bit tricky) and install under your XenU
Get iscsi-init 4.0.1 from
