Joining NT4 workstations to a Samba 3 Domain
...t a new Samba domain up and running with LDAP that allows me to
join Win2K and XP clients, but not NT4 workstations. I've added the
machine account with the command: smbldap-useradd -w MISTEST02
An ldapsearch confirms that the machine account has been created. On
attmpting to join the domai nfrom the NT4 client I receive the following
error message:
"The machine account for this computer either does not exist or is
inaccessible."
Amazingly, the machine account has now disappeared from the LDAP
directory, as confirmed by running ldapsearch.
Trying to add the machine without...

failed assertion in 1.1.8: istream.c: line 81
Hello,
We're having a problem in Dovecot 1.1.8 with a failed assertion on
certain mbox format mailboxes. It happens both with deliver when it
attempts to delier to the mailbox, and with IMAP connections for the
affected box (though I'm not sure what they're doing at the time).

maildir_copy_with_hardlinks on v.2.0.19
Hi,
I'm trying to get the so-called "single instance store" (I think cyrus
has got the name for the first time) with dovecot --version = 2.0.19
binary package installed from ubuntu 12.04 lts official repo.
I have checked that "maildir_copy_with_hardlinks" is enabled ("dovecot
-a|grep hard" shows "yes") then I have installed and enabled the lmtp

What BIC is calculated by 'regsubsets'?
...E = 477.6371

# Use the R function BIC, defined as: -2*log-likelihood + npar*log(nobs)

flat file mailbox formats
...I suppose all such formats could be implemented by separating mails into
3 logical parts:
- header ("From ...\n")
- mail data (headers and body)
- footer ("\n")
Except keeping a separate header and footer is kind of annoying, my
current code uses:
- mail separator ("\nFrom ...\n")
- first message header's skip counter: how many characters to remove
from mail separator for the first message (1, for \n before the "From
..")
- last message's footer
Somewhat uglier, but I think all needed formats could be implemented
with it? It's also simpe...

script.aculo.us: pause before effect.appear
I''ve created a simple script (below) which calls the effect.appear script in
order to make a group of items appear at the page load. I would like to have
the images randomly appear at different times; e.g. the 3rd image might
start appearing 2 seconds after load, the 6th image immediately after load,
the first image 1 second after load, etc...
How can I achieve this affect?

[PATCHES] Smartjog PatchDump
Hello,
I work at SmarctJog.com, we have here some patches on IceCast for
performance and reliability, these are mostly client/connection/source
cleanups (a slave merge is underway, and some more good stuff (c)),
but we'd like this to be merged in before the list gets any longer.
Please find attached a list of our patches with a short desc:
This one is actually not from us/me, it was found
