Is it possible to use Wine to run USB DSL modems with Win9x only drivers? I had a choice of a free PCI or USB modem and heard I had a better shot with the USB. There are no Linux drivers, at least for now. Tom

Appearantly the good folks at Microshaft (soft) have yet to make a linux version of this messenger, and know one has made a clone yet, I tried to run it on wine but with no success, has anyone out there been able to get it to run, or know of a clone?, and if so, were can i get the clone, or how can i get it to run?

I seem to have a problem with wine that has me stumped, wine runs apps fine, but when i go to open a file under the app, i get a debug message. Has anyone seen something like this before?

For those that have managed to get Diablo II to work. I have attempted get Diablo working, however have run into a DirectX not available error. How did others get this to work. For some reason TCP/IP apps (Ultima Online, mIRC, etc.) work fine, but when I go to browse servers for Internet Games in Half Life / Counterstrike / etc.. can't get a server list, no error, just 0 servers. No, there are no filters on or anything and I hit update and refresh and still a no go; Yes, Everything works fine in Windows. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Douglas Thigpen
