MakeActiveBinding help needed
Hi,
I wanted a Q&D way to open a new graphics window but keep the focus in
the console window (under Windows and the Rgui), so I wrote a line into
my Rprofile.site file as follows:
invisible(makeActiveBinding('newdev', function(...)
dev.new(restoreConsole=T), .GlobalEnv))
(That is all on one line, incase the mailer re-parses it). This gives me

[PATCH 0/1] Add uvirtio for testing
This is a way to create virtio based devices from user space. This is the

Re: one step closer to Flash MX 2004 installation
As one last option, try installing Internet Explorer - the installer
might be depending on stuff that it provides.
It may simply be a deficiency in Wine. File a bug report, and please
post your experiences in the AppDB page for it here:
http://appdb.winehq.org/appview.php?versionId=2294
If you want to maintain the app and test it with new wine versions, feel
free.
Thanks,

HTB shaping & borrowing info
Hello to everybody,
We want integrate in a router/firewall (Debian Based, 2.6 Kernel), an HTB
shaper.
The goal is to divide the traffic for classes of workstations, at example in
three classes,
let say A, B and C.
Example:
A 70 Mb/s
B 20 Mb/s
C 10 Mb/s
If B don''t make traffic, 7/8 of 20Mb/s must be assigned to A and all the
rest at B
We have used CBQ and HTB, with poor succes.

Wine 0.9.11 and Visual Foxpro 9
G'day
I am trying to install Visual FoxPro 9 with wine. I have been following
the instructions from "http://www.paulmcnett.com/vfp/wine/". I have had
to slightly modify the paths used for the symlinks because the format of
version 9 appears to differ from that of version 8. Or it's because they
didn't lend me the original disks.
Basically an extra directory level called

Problems compiling Wine
Hello,
The lack of debian packages for 0.9.13 have made me decide to compile
from source instead. So I uninstalled all wine files and downloaded the
sources. I'm using a system based mostly on Debian Sarge, but with some
backports.
I ran ./configure and there were some packages I had to get, but soon it
worked well.
When I tried make depend the problems started. This is the output I get

Comments on R-1.2.1 builds (PR#851)
The R-1.2.1 builds have gone fairly smoothly on most of my UNIX
architectures, but there were many warnings reported by the picky SGI
compiler that could be eliminated in future releases.
Generally, I have found the SGI compilers very helpful in ferreting
out portability problems, unused and/or obsolete variables, unexpected
datatype coercions, etc., and they compile faster than any other
