Problem w/ b95 + ZFS (version 11) - seeing fair number of errors on multiple machines
Hi, After upgrading to b95 of OSOL/Indiana, and doing a ZFS upgrade to the newer revision, all arrays I have using ZFS mirroring are displaying errors. This started happening immediately after ZFS upgrades. Here is an example: ormandj at neutron.corenode.com:~$ zpool status pool: rpool state: DEGRADED status: One or more devices has experienced an unrecoverable error. An attempt was

Disk near failure
Hi Yamaban, Great expalanation. I think you know how to buy an ssd. There is no doubt about samsung ssds quality vs other. My question about neutron was to get your opinion about this product. My doubt was about differences between slc, mlc and tlc. Mlc endurance respect tlc is better and I though that the mlc of neutron gives me more endurance respect to the tlc. From a technic point of view,

issue with openssh-server running in a libvirt based centos virtual machine
Hi, I have a strange issue in a libvirt environment, and I do not know how to solve it. I have two centos hosts: first one is a physical server called server1, that acts as a host for the second one, called centos1. The centos1 is a virtual machine (VM) running in server1. A linux bridge in forwarding mode is used to connect the centos1 VM network interface to the server1 network interface and

My guess would be that the switch isn't configured to give you access to VLAN 5 with tagged packets.

question about libvirt network Xml
Hi, I’m an openstack developer trying to use Assignment from a pool of SRIOV VFs in a libvirt <network> definition from this link http://wiki.libvirt.org/page/Networking My question is is it possible for nova (the openstack compute) to know which VF out of the pool will be allocated to a VM before it invokes libvirt to launch it? Thanks In advance, Robert

FS corruption? bogus i_mode
Hello, I am doing some testing on a PXA270 based processor (on a single board computer) which makes the processor vulnerable to bit flips. One such bit flips seems to have corrupted the file system. The debug port on the board (it is a single board computer) had the following message when i think the FS corruption occured : <7>init_special_inode: bogus i_mode (33061) init_special_inode:

Re: issue with openssh-server running in a libvirt based centos virtual machine
You say you can ping but not ssh. If you install tcpdump on the VM, can you see the ping packets arriving and leaving? If not, I suspect an address collision - especially if ping continues to work with the VM shut down. If you can't ping, check the other end of your bridge. I'm more familiar with open vSwitch, but I'm somewhat concerned that your bridge definition doesn't include a

Hello dovecot team, at first I want to thank you the awesome dovecot software. I'm currently researching and developing the trees plugin (https://0xacab.org/riseuplabs/trees). In the future I would love to package this software for debian. I run into a problem, which I can not fix by myself, that's why I'm reaching out to you. The plugin is producing a reproducible error, when using
