While it's possible that MATLAB may have some features unavailable in R, I suspect that this may instead simply be a case of costly tradition, where researchers were taught MATLAB as students and pay for it as researchers because it's all they know. Hello- I would like to remove the columns of a matrix that contain all zeros. For example, from x<-matrix(c(1,5,3,2,1,4,0,0,0), ncol=3,nrow=3) I would like to remove the third column. Hi all, I'm having trouble getting access to the pwr. This is on Ubuntu Lucid Lynx, 64 bit. I'm installing pwr via packages.install('pwr'), and loading it via library(pwr), both of which appear successful. Strangely, I never get access to the pwr object in R.
