one physical machine and two virtuals and two netwroks
Hello list,
I''m looking forward to set up 2 virtual machines with two different
networks.
My idea is:
1 physical machine with xen and two network cards (eth0 for internal
network and eth1 for dmz). Every virtual machine is connected to one
physical network card.
Can I get issues with this configuration? Please help me because I have
no experience with xen yet.
Thanks!

Debian 10 nut 2.7.4-8 and APC Back UPS 600i on 940-0020B
...of UPS and cable, I have realized
that is after boot I reload the driver the system work well:
# systemctl restart nut-driver.service
I was checked up to real "battery low" and shutdown, switch off the UPS
every thing goes well.
I was activated /etc/rc.local but it is starting before that Netwrok UPS
Tools starting - nothing to restart.
What can I do now?
Any suggestion?

Hope I can get some help on printing problems.

problems with the clients. XP downloaded the drivers,
I can print but I can´t change printing preferences on
this machine. When I tried to see them I received an

file access with mongrel running as windows service
i have an archive of documents (word, excel, jpeg, png, gif...)
residing on a network share that is accessed via send_file.
when running mongrel on the command line the files are properly
delivered.
with mongrel running as a service they don''t.
now normally i would think that should be fixable by configuring the
service to run under a user that can read the files....

Server v. Workstation installation

with Red Hat 7.2. I could read files on the windows machines but the W2K
machines did not recognize the Linux Server. I could ping the address or
server name and get a replay - just not available (Network Path Not Found)

Neighborhood.
I tried upgrading to the latest Samba at the time - 2.2.5 -- still no
luck -- even with smb.conf that is identical to the one on the workstation
except for Netbios Name and Server String, identifiying the server.
I appear to have a valid password file. This has been rebuilt a coupl...

restart the netwrok manually everytime. it is not

RSYNC/FreeBSD/Macintosh files...
I am wanting to rsync over mac files to a freebsd 4.5 box, but have
recently found out that rsync does not preserve resource forks, or creator
types and maybe some other things. But, has anybody had any experience like
this, would tar'ing the files and then rsync'ing that seem a worthwhile
solution. There's a lot, so testing is going slowly. Thanks!

[Trouble #6512] Samba shares not accessible

tried to access a directory that does not exist. Tried it with \tmp, same error.

listed in Netwrok Neighborhood.
So we have tests of the server side with password failure and tests on the
client side failing to find FileServer\TMP.
