Cached message size larger than expected
Hi guys, I recently turned on IMAP zlib compression for Maildir and noticed that I've started getting these errors in the maillog. flex package marked as fc6 and no flex-devel?

4.2.3 - xen: vector 0x2 is not implemented

...fixed upstream is great - it should make everyone's job easier in the long term. Although I have the same problem as the SIG - there's just not enough people to test / patch stuff. Damaged rpm database?
Hello, while doing some maintenance on a Centos 4.4 box, I ran rpm -qa --last and got: error: rpmdb: damaged header #91 retrieved -- skipping. ...lots of lines identical to the one above and finally: the_last_package_I_installed_yesterday.rpm all the other rpms in reverse installation order I've seen via google that this should mean there is a damaged rpm database and it should be rebuilt

Packaging Xen 4.2.0

How to delete files with specical characters in the name?

Issues with r8169 gige on boot.
...ifup eth1.203" then the adapter starts up ok. It seems to be something with the boot sequence it loads the ethernet adapters a different way around (ie 4.4 eth0 is now eth1 and eth1 is now eth0). screen + mutt terminal issues.

Virtualization question
I want to use Centos5 as my host os and virtualize a windows server on it. Subject: How do I recover from a corrupt fstab file on reboot?

Cron set_loginuid failed opening loginuid errors.
...#session required pam_loginuid.so session include system-auth I commended out pam_loginuid.so - as I remember reading somewhere that this was the cause of this issue, however it hasn't made a difference this time... tsclient/rdesktop connection to Vista?

System hang on messagebus -> problem with ldap?
Hi list, I've made a new CentOS 5 install with all updates. My users are sored in a ldap directory. If i reboot the machine, CentOs hangs at: starting messagebus I found the same problem at Fedora 5. The solution should be to change "etc/init.d/ladp" from 27 to 21 so it starts before messagebus (22) So is this the "right" solution or is there a other way? Thanks

centos 5 iptables
Hi, I applied a set of iptables rules and started iptables without any trouble. But after i edited the rules and restarting it, it gives me "Applying iptables firewall rules: iptables-restore: line 35 failed". I looked into /etc/sysconfig/ for the mentioned file and it was not found. I did a quick check and locate only found /sbin/iptables-restore. I had done updatedb before using
