Asterisk 1.2.2 Released!

released. The source tarballs are available for download on
ftp.digium.com. For details about what has changed, see the ChangeLog
for Asterisk, Zaptel, or Libpri.
We are also excited to announce the release of a special version of
Asterisk 1.2.2, called Asterisk-NetSec. It includes some very exciting
features not available in any other version of Asterisk, or even any

About DNS again

resolver vulnerability sent to list by Oliver Friedrichs (oliver@secnet.com)
is a new one. Our discussion with Oliver outlined that even though it is
possible that this vulnerability was discussed during BOFs at conferences
such as LISA, SANS and NETSEC, neither a summary was ever made public, nor a
detailed description of attack was ever given.
The SNI Security Advisory posted to linux-security provided not only a really
good summary with an explanation of attacks targetting the resolver but also
provided a detailed description of them.

NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED with winbindd authentication
Hi,
We're running a print server having the following specifications:
Samba 3.0.11
Suse 9.1
Kernel 2.6.5-7.108 kernel
A few days back none of the users were able to log onto the print
server. The debug 10 logs show the following lines:

Keyboard Interactive Attack?
I read an article today about keyboard interactive auth allowing bruteforcing.
I'm afraid I have minimal understanding of what keyboard-interactive really does. What does it do, and should I have my clients set it to off in sshd_config?
