rh62 suid files
Hi, I believe having less root setuid binaries on system is The Way ... so: Why does RH6.2 ships with /sbin/dump & /sbin/restore root setuid? These are for sysadmins, not for regular users I hope. Is /sbin/unix_chkpwd really used and what is it used for? I haven't find anything about it in pam documentation. Is it really necessary to ship /usr/bin/gpasswd and /usr/bin/newgrp? Does

authconfig and Segmentation fault
List, I configured my system to use Kerberos for authentication using authconfig, so I returned back my configuration of my system to use MD5 passwd and shadows pass using authconfig but when I uncheck "Use kerberos" a Segmentation fault comes to my screen: [root at netreporter.domain:~]# authconfig Segmentation fault I tried to check others options but I receive the Segmentation fault again! I'm using CentOS 4.3 + Updates. Regards Israel

Problem - Boot Xen 3.0.1 Guest using NFS
I have been trying to boot Xen guest (Fedora Core 6 - linux version 2.6.18) from NFS server but I kept encountering a problem despite using ramdisk or not. Key items in my config file are as follows: ================================================= kernel = "/root/Xen/xen-3.1.0-src/linux-2.6.18-xenU2/vmlinuz" # Optional ramdisk. # ramdisk = "/boot/initrd-2.6.18-xenU2.img"

no-amd-iommu-perdev-intremap + no-intremap = BOOM with Xen 4.4 (no-intremap by itself OK).
Hey I wanted to try my hand at doing some GPU passthrough so on my ASUS M5A97 which in the pass worked with an older BIOS (but said BIOS had issues after S3 suspend) - but with a BIOS the PCI passthrough does not work. That is due to:: (XEN) IVHD Error: Invalid IO-APIC 0xff (XEN) AMD-Vi: Error initialization

Assertion ''l1e_get_pfn(MAPCACHE_L1ENT(hashent->idx)) == hashent->mfn'' failed at domain_page.c:203
Today is my day! This is with Xen 4.4 (pulled today) when I build a kernel in dom0 and have two guests launching at the same time. This is what I get: (XEN) Assertion ''l1e_get_pfn(MAPCACHE_L1ENT(hashent->idx)) == hashent->mfn'' failed at domain_page.c:203 and it blows up.
