Hi, I setup samba according to the Howto and I'm not sure but I can't find my samba box in netowrk neighbourhood. If I run \\(samba IP address) I get it fine. It just doesn't show up in the nethood. ...g. Situation is, I have a small externally managed VPN network, about 12 different subnets all terminating in my office location, and all managed by a tier 1 telco. Problem is, their CPE routers do not have any firewalling capability. I was going to try and place a freebsd box between this external netowrk and my internal network and only allow traffic from know MAC addresses. Hi list, I am trying to create a VPN between two different locations. On the first location we have a cisco pix 525 Natting the internal 192.168.100.x network, while on the second location we have a Centos3 box Natting via iptables the internal 192.168.10.x netowrk. My goal is to connect this 2 over the internet via IPsec. Dear All, I have previous posted on here before about some of the problems I have been have with various services in 4.1 particularly, PCMCIA, XFS, and Netowrk. I have a nf4x mobo with an amd semprom 3000+. The video card is an Asus radeon x500 (uses the x300 drivers). I have also tried fedora core 4 as well which the same repeatable results.
