Riello Vision VST 1100 + NetMan 204 network card
I've contacted Riello and they told me that the NetMan 204 is the new version of the Netman Plus 102 and is indeed compatible with NUT. I don't know how to update the Hardware compatibility list page, but the 204 should be added to the compatible ones. Niccolo' Il 2022-06-17 12:02 Niccol? Riello Vision VST 1100 + NetMan 204 network card
Hi, I'm looking for a small 230V Line Interactive Pure Sine Wave UPS with NUT support via network. It looks like the VST1100 has a communication slot for an optional NetMan 204 network card, but I couldn't figure out if that would be compatible with NUT. What I need is being able to monitor the UPS in Home Assistant (which uses NUT AFAIK) plus being able to automatically shut down a couple of Linux computers (including a Raptor Talos 2 ppc64le) when the batter...

Samba related question??
...tilize. In these articles, most of the GPO's listed regard security, etc, etc. Users cannot do this or that, etc. In a different post (to this list) recently, Louis posted this: Do the same for the following services: - Function Discovery Resource Publication (FDResPub) - Network Connections (NetMan) - UPnP Device Host (UPnPHost) - Peer Name Resolution Protocol (PNRPSvc) - Peer Networking Grouping (P2PSvc) - Peer Networking Identity Manager (P2PIMSvc) Repeat the same procedure for all PCs on the network. Or* even better, configure a GPO for it*. It was that last line that got me thinking abo...

Multiple usernames and strange log
Hi guys, I would like you to help me with two problems we have here with samba. It works fine on almost all the situations but we're unable to connect from a win95 machine with two identities simultaneously. The situation is that: john and eric have their own account in the server (Unix running samba). They share another account (say netmen). They need access to

FW: Internal DNS migrate to Bind9_DLZ
Hai,   I've checked out the log you send and i re-read the complete thread.   Based on thats done and what i did see in you logs now, looks like a  * (wildcard)  entry is giving the problem. But i am not sure of that, the wildcard bugs should be fixed, when i look in bugzilla.  (#10435 #12952 )   I've forwarded the mail to Rowland also before we go throw things at you again. ;-)

Disappearing 'Z:'
I'm having some serious problems with Samba/NT. I've reinstalled NT from scratch and re-created the unix box with samba from scratch also but still the problem occurs. We have two NT boxes, one of which is a PDC. Users logon to the PDC with their home directory set to be "connect Z: to \\unixbox\username" which generally works. Every hour or so i get a phone call, "my Z:
