Could somebody explain the below patch which is added in openssh6.8.P1?. During the netconf test at the end customer site it causes performance degradation. What do I

U2F support in OpenSSH HEAD
...support SK keys as host keys. Your current PROTOCOL.u2f file says that these keys ?are not used for host-based user authentication or server host key authentication?. However, I think there are a few use cases where this could make sense. One use case is for reverse-direction connections, such as NETCONF ?Call Home? described in RFC 8071. I know this isn?t something OpenSSH supports yet, but I recently added such support to AsyncSSH. See https://asyncssh.readthedocs.io/en/latest/#reverse-direction-example <https://asyncssh.readthedocs.io/en/latest/#reverse-direction-example> for more details....

Samba DNS fails when queried with nslookup commands
...et/used.) First, His resolv.conf or the assigned DNS server in the network setting is simply wrong. *(there is/was a know bug related to DNS in : /etc/netplan/01-netcfg.yaml For example. *( which is adressed, in the manual i have online. Biggest chance this is the problem. Non DNS is set in the netconf.yaml. If netplan is used (default on ubuntu) editor /etc/netplan/01-netcfg.yaml netplan --debug generate And check again. Second, Even if systemd-resolved is running it only runs on and with setting : 127.0.0.51:53 No other DNS server is running on that adress and port. If above (1) is cor...

U2F support in OpenSSH HEAD
Hi, As of this morning, OpenSSH now has experimental U2F/FIDO support, with U2F being added as a new key type "sk-ecdsa-sha2-nistp256 at openssh.com" or "ecdsa-sk" for short (the "sk" stands for "security key"). If you're not familiar with U2F, this is an open standard for making inexpensive hardware security tokens. These are easily the cheapest way

Qdisc statistics project
As a necessety for my job is to real-time monitor the bytes, packets, packet dropped etc of all the qdiscs working inside the kernel i''ve tried varius methods: 1.
