mapping with username: "user@domain" failed
Hi All,
When trying to map my SAMBA share from WinXP, it prompted me for name
and password but it failed when I used name@domain.com
However, using "domain\name" worked.
Any idea why my SAMBA server didn't accept this name style name@domain
?
Assume: Realm (AD domain): domain.com
Pre-windows2000: domain
Username: name
Samba server: 3.0.7 (soon will switch to latest)

Use Samba with ACL for read Active Directory and set Permissions via it.
...e command "net rpc testjoin" show same error :
Unable to find a suitable server for domain JASONDOMAINI
Join to domain 'JASONDOMAINI' is not valid: NT_STATUS_UNSUCCESSFUL
this was 05/01/15 07:02
Totally missed it then, but now it sticks out like a sore thumb, is your
workgroup/NETBiosdomain 'JASONDOMAIN' *OR* 'JASONDOMAINI' ?????
