Puppet 3 and master cert error ...
Hey all,
after installing the 3.0.0 version of puppet (debian package from
puppetlabs), doing the initial config, doing an initial start of master to
generate the certs needed and then starting apache with passenger to
control puppetmaster. I can do:
puppet ca list --all
and get a listing of the certs in the system (initially only the master).
afterwards, on the client node, I run:

I think that thread occurred when it was decided to include a version number

I agree this is an interesting idea ...
The use case that made me ask this is here :

Windows cannot add samba domain
I have set up a samba (3.0.22) as PDC on Suse and can actually login
into the linux machine from windows (My Network Places) and sambstatus
shows me as an active user. But when I try to add the domain to the
windows machine it fails and says "the specified domain either doesn't
exist or could not be contacted". I even shut down the firewall on linux
and windows just in case but

Fatal Error: Invalid HOMEDRIVE
All,
I've encountered the same problem as others who have posted under the same
subject.
I've had R-1.8.1 installed and running since it was released. Yesterday
morning when I tried to start Rgui.exe I got the subject error message.
Since I live at the whim of the network administrators I can only assume it
was a recent MS critical update.
I tried installing R-1.9.0 but no joy.

samba AIX / NT network issue
I'm running samba on an AIX 4.3.3 server which has NT4.0 SP6a clients
connecting. Since I've had so much trouble with it I compiled 2.2.4 with
GCC on the server and it didn't do any good. Grasping for straws I had our
netadmin come over and help me interpet what kinds of errors we were
receiving.
The symptom of the problem first off is that when the clients are browsing

XTerminal issue
What does wine exactly trying to do when i run it remotely?
I've got some XTerminals and I'd like to run MSOffice on them (on the app
server, actually) but when i try to w(h)ine it starts up, makes noise on
the net for some 5mins (doing the fonts). After that it dumps an error
message saying that he's run out of resources (the X server I think).

WineHQ.com Moving
NOTICE!! NOTICE!! NOTICE!!
www.winehq.com will be moving to a new home in Minnesota. We are trying
to make this move as seamless as possible, but we can't guarantee that
there will not be any downtime. I will post another message to the
mailing lists when I have a more definite time of shutdown of the old
server.
www.winehq.org WILL be on-line for Web, FTP and CVS access. The area

WineHQ.com moving today
FINAL NOTICE!
We are going to shut down the old Winehq.com box today. This will happen
at 9pm CST. At that time the new winehq.com box should be operational.
But as with all DNS transfers, there may be delay as the changes
propagate the net. If you can't get to winehq.com, use winehq.org
instead. There will be no difference between the two domains.
This is the final opportunity for you to

WineHQ.com Move Complete
The WineHQ.com move is complete, but not without some issues.
The 1st issue is that our mailing lists (mailman) sent out a huge amount
of email because the newsgroup gateway changed. It basically thought all
the messages on comp.emulators.ms-windows.wine were new. Apologies go
out to the users whose email inboxes we filled up.
So in the meantime, the newsgroup gateway, and the NNTP server on

WineHQ.com server crash
On 10:00:12 CST the wine.codeweavers.com a.k.a www.winehq.com server
suffered catastrophic hardware failure. The power supply suddenly
decided of its own free will that the motherboard and all of the
attached components needed 3x the recommended voltage (or something).
wine.codeweavers.com (ver 3.0) on-line and operational. Sorry for the
inconvenience of downtime.
