Multiple symbols per single line in a legend
Hello everybody, Is it possible to coax legend() into displaying more than one simbol per line in legend? I have a graph like the one attached to this mail; I would like to reorganize the legend in such a way that the duplicate text would be omitted, i.e., the first line would read <square> <triangledown> "increasing frequency" and the second one would read <circle>

Undo/reverse zpool create
Hi, If I add an entire disk to a new pool by doing "zpool create", is this reversible? I.e. if there was data on that disk (e.g. it was the sole disk in a zpool in another system) can I get this back or is zpool create destructive? Joubert This message posted from opensolaris.org

A Stylesheet for a database app
Hi to all, I''m a new subscriber of this list and a new user of RoR. I''m looking for a stylesheet to make a simple database app nicer, a css to start working with. I have to do some simple apps and I want them to be the more uniform on the presentation side. I know I can do it for myself, but a nice stylesheet is not so easy to perform for a non-grafic geek like me, and so

Record the user log-in and log-out
Hi! I'm sorry but I need a *fast* reply, I've absolutely no time to search on docs. :-( I have a small network: about 8-10 XP client connected to a Samba PDC. I need to log who and when log in the PDC, because the national law requires to record these infos and preserve them for a certain time. Any tip will be apreciated!! Thanks Giovanni -------------- next part -------------- No

Replacing underscore character in Windows GUI
...9;' when you type in the underscore character. This is the current default behaviour in the ESS mode in emacs, and seems to me to be a generally good idea. If no one can come up with a good reason not to do this, I hope that the maintainers of the GUI will put it on their to-do list. Thanks, Nels

R: Confidence Intervals for logistic regression
a closer look to the help on predict.glm will reveal that the function accepts a 'type' argument. In you case 'type = response' will give you the results in probabilities (that it seems to be what you are looking for). There also is an example on use of the 'type' argument at the end of the page. ldapsam_compat - join workstation to domain problem
Hi there I am using Samba 3.0 release with the ldapsam_compat backend until we are ready to migrate to the new LDAP samba schema. Using the same "root" LDAP user (and smbldap-tools) that Samba 2.28 allowed me to add workstations to the domain successfully, I receive a new error - "No mapping between account names and security IDs was done". When I switch to the domain

Problem browsing my unix-client - session setup failed: NT_STATUS _CANT_ACCESS_DOMAIN_INFO
I installed samba 3.0015. I have a problem when I try to browse my machine from a windows client. In effect I am not able to "open" my unix-client. I checked nmbd and smbd and they are running. If I try from my unix-clinet: smbclient -L my_user -W my_domain -L my_PDC I can see shares. If I try from my unix client: smbclient -L my_user -W my_domain -L my_unix_client I get session setup

Signing key for recent x86_64 CentOS-3 updates
...ppropriate signing key. I've been happily doing updates all along (last time was Oct. 12) with no trouble. The key ID used to sign the x86_64 packages is 219180cddb42a60e and the key ID used to sign the i386 packages is 7049e44d025e513b. Is there a new key just for the x86_64 build? ---- Nels Lindquist <*> Information Systems Manager Morningstar Air Express Inc.

...CentOS project, or is there some other specific reason for that? If one wanted to rebuild CentOS for, let's say the AMD64 architecture, would that be a difficult process, or is it just something that nobody's yet done? I'm currently buying an AMD64 system and I'm curious. ---- Nels Lindquist <*> Information Systems Manager Morningstar Air Express Inc.

Samba 3 (PDC+LDAP) problem with user-level access on Win9x
Hi there I am having a problem when using User-Level Access on Win9x with my Samba 3alpha22 domain. When editing Sharing properties for a directory, I select "Add" to modify or view the list of domain users available. I then get the following error: You cannot view the list of users at this time. Try again later. As far as I understand, this facility has been functional since Samba
