multi-level cox ph with time-dependent covariates
...ression feature. Shall I then model nested random effects by considering both the patient_id and the tissue_id? Like model<-coxme(Surv(start_time,stop_time,outcome) ~ covariates + (1 | patient_id/tissue_id)) Then, how could I shrink the coefficients in order to select a subset of them with non-neglegible effects? May I also consider the possibility to run an AIC-based forward-backward selection? thanks and apologies if I am completely out of the trails, M.P.

How to get values of local channels context
The variable ${CONTEXT} stores the value of the current context. However if we are in a macro that will be the name of the macro. How do I access the name of the local channel's context. For example: [macro-test] exten => s,n,NoOp(Context ${CONTEXT}) CLI shows: -- Executing NoOp("Local/2592@1100006-2000-e802,2", "Context macro-test") in new stack I want to get

reducing memmoves
...7MB of 10 local files, memmoved bytes went from 18MB to zero. I haven't tested this for a big variety of file cases. I think that this will always reduce the memmoves involved with walking a large file, but perhaps there's some case I'm not seeing. Also, the memmove cost if obviously neglegible compared to real disk i/o, so you have pretty much no chance of measuring the difference unless your files are already starting in cache. Also, with the new new caps on window size, the worst case memmoves are quite a bit smaller than they used to be, so the benefit of avoiding them is comensu...

Why Are You Using FreeBSD?
Hi Everyone, This is off-topic, so please feel free to disregard it, but I'm sending it to this list in the hope that it will reach a largish number of users. I am currently looking at updating some of our advocacy material (which advertises exciting new features like SMP support), and before I do I'd like to get a better feel for why the rest of you are using FreeBSD. If you had to
