Samba 3 / Solaris 8 / Kerberos
Hi,
I have a problem to compile Samba 3 with ADS support on Solaris.
Unfortunatly, Solaris 8 doesn't come with integrated kerberos support,
so that configure doesn't find any support for kerberos. For Solaris 8
there is a package called SEAM 1.0.1 with provides kerberos
functionality for Solaris, but the needed header file, i.e krb5.h, are
not included and according to my

configure / compile problems samba-3.0.0rc3 on Solaris 8
Hello,
I'm running a Sun Fire V880 with Solaris 8 and iplanet directory server
4.16sp1. I'm using gcc 3.2.2.
When I run the configure, there are several warnings ans when I try to
compile samba-3.0.0rc3 I get an error.
Now here the warnings from configure --with-acl-support:

Asterisk install beta testing/config help
I have asterisk up and running on a fedora system but
having trouble accessing system via softphone (ekiga
and xlite). Im a newbie to asterisk and was looking
for some help walking through this. I imagine 10 - 15
mins would be all needed to make proper config changes
needed. Once I get this setup I'd be interested in
discussing customizations and scripts so any

Samba device that integrates Pc and Apple Networks
I remember a while back seeing someone mention a device that would integrate
an apple with a pcnetwork.
basically it was a small box that had a samba server built in. you would
connect your mac to it with the
other side connecting to the hub of a pcnetwork. It would intern allow
Apple shares to be viewed in network
neighborhood, and macs to mount pc shares./ does this ring a bell with
anyone.

Samba 3 doesn't compile against SUN directory server 4.16sp1
Hi folks,
I tried to compile samba 3 on Solaris 8 with SUn directory server 4.16sp1.
I run configure --with-acl-support --with-quotas.
The first problem is, that configure reports that ldap.h can not be
compiled. In config.log, I found the following lines:
configure:22013: checking ldap.h usability
configure:22022: gcc -c -g -O2 -I/usr/local/include -D_LARGEFILE_SOURCE
-D_FILE
