Routing NDAS ?
Hi, I believe ndas devices (http://www.ximeta.com/web/technology/) use raw Ethernet frames, as they require no tcp/ip configuration, the client finds and authenticates with a code that is different for each device sold, like a network mac address. My pc is on a different segment to the ndas devices that we have, the...

Ximeta NDAS Driver with Wine 1.1.10
Hi all, i'll try to install Ximeta Driver with wine 1.1.10 but the installer show me an error on start up (after choose language). The error is this: Install Failed This is a Windows Installer Database for multiple languages and should be used with a language transform. Please run "setup.exe" or apply the language transform. The problem is that i already choose the language and

Zfs deduplication
Will the material ever be posted. Looks there is some huge bugs with zfs deduplication that the organizers do not want to post it also there is no indication on sun website if there will be a deduplication feature. I think its best they concentrate on improving zfs performance and speed with compression enabled. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

[LLVMdev] [cfe-dev] Meaning of LLVM optimization levels
...care, it makes debugging possible at any optimization level. The idea is to make the debug information reflect what the optimizer and code generator actually did, rather than restricting them to the linear mapping supported by most debuggers. If anyone cares, I can even give details now that the NDAs have finally expired. Sadly, you can't express the resulting source line information in the debug directives used by any commonly available debugger (that I am aware of). So -- at the very most optimistic -- this approach won't get you anything any time soon. Dean Sutherland dsutherland...

Security disclosure process discussion update
After concluding our poll [1] about changes to the security discussion, we determined that "Pre-disclosure to software vendors and a wide set of users" was probably the best fit for the community. A set of concrete changes to the policy have now been discussed on xen-devel [2] [3], and we seem to have converged on something everyone finds acceptable. We are now presenting these changes

CNAM lookup: new method for Caller ID Name delivery
...ods with you. I was not willing to sign an NDA to have an XML schema example transmitted to me, so that was a non-starter. This really angers me, actually - does anyone actually have a clue how many lawyers need to get involved in an NDA, and what is it exactly that the NDA is trying to do? NDAs are used in the USA for the most frivolous and inane reasons. As if your competition didn't know what you were doing? Please, let's be realistic here. 2) They have a $100 monthly minimum charge. If you only have a billing volume of under $100, then you'll pay $100. So, if you...

This is all educated conjecture however since I, nor anyone else outside Nullsoft and a few contractors under NDAs, have seen the code for Winamp's input plugins or plugin architecture... :) oddsock <p>--- >8 ---- List archives: http://www.xiph.org/archives/ icecast project homepage: http://www.icecast.org/ To unsubscribe from this list, send a message to 'icecast-request@xiph.org' cont...

"R is not a validated software package..
I've been on vacation and so come late to this interesting discussion. Let me add two minor points. 1. I have run into a lot of statements that "x is required" when dealing with pharma, and in particular wrt NDAs (new drug application). Almost all were false. But I also understand a bit of where they are coming from. An NDA costs millions, with the required trials, and is a huge submission in terms of the sheer amount of paper. If a company's last NDA was successful, there is a lot of draw to make t...

I am using DIDx.net as my DID provider but they don't seem to get their act together. A lot of times the phone numbers don't work. How can provide my own DID, my asterisk server is being hosted at a Data center and has a reliable vendor that does my termination and do SIP to SIP and have no T1 channels. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... ...o have much chance of interesting anyone to work on a module for your products. I know it kind of sounds stupid to say it but there are companies who have stated that they want their product supported by an Open Source project and want to work with the project, but then want developers to sign NDAs and such. Once the specs are public then you need to interest a developer in writing a module for NUT that will talk to your product. Asking developers to contact you like in this email of yours is usually not a very good way to do it. These folks are usually pretty busy and usually aren't...

21 CFR Part 11 Compliance and R
I have used S-PLUS, R, MATLAB and SAS for many years, and I am actually quite happy to use any of these four languages. The reason may in part involve my using the various languages for the purposes to which they seem most suited. Hence there are many things for which I would not use SAS or MATLAB, but for which I would greatly prefer to use R instead. On the other hand ( to take one of a

Windind (Samba 4.2.*, 4.5.2, 4.5.4) recurring resolving failure for some specific users
Hello Volker. I come back after a long time. I captured today two Samba traces (log level globally cranked to 10) comparing, with a problematic user, a successful session and, later, a failed one. With one "net cache flush", the session will succeed again and... later (can be 2 minutes, can be 40), will fail again. This elusive bug is killing me. For some really annoyed users I

Greetings to all developers of the Network UPS Tools, and Merry Christmas greetings to those of you who celebrate! I have been looking in to your work from time to time, and I am very impressed with your efforts. I think this is a good time to officially supply the required information about Gamatronic products to the community. Furthermore, I would like to know how our company may contribute

But after O1, sequential execution is a big impediment for optimizations, and keeping the debug information valid after so many transformations might pose a big penalty on the passes (time & memory). [LLVMdev] [cfe-dev] Meaning of LLVM optimization levels
I'm not a LLVM or Clang developer, but I do spend a lot of time teasing software into working with the highest possible optimisation levels where it still works correctly. These guidelines are pretty good, but there are a few details worth considering. It needs to be possible to debug code at any optimisation level. It's acceptable for that to be harder at high optimisation levels, but

hardware ogg vorbis decoder
As it seems that the vorbis decoder is now stable with respect to format/features, would it be time to start thinking about a hardware implementation? I would be interested in pursuing this if some there is consensus on requirements. If there is some enthusiasm for it then a module could be set up on the opencores site for a gate-array decoder. cya, Andrew... --- >8 ---- List
