Calculating file size.
hi,
Here's an interesting one...
If I view the files on my Samba server, the file size is reported
differently depending on if I'm looking from WinXX or Win2k.
That is, if I do a 'properties' on a file with Windows ME for instance, I
see 'Size' and 'Size on Disk' numbers that seem reasonable. Size on Disk is
slightly larger which seems reasonable. But if I look

I have a question, and I was hoping that someone here has worked with this
before. I am a big fan of network appliances. I use the Netgear ND520 (which
is little more than a Samba-based network hard drive) and a box running
E-Smith Linux for almost everything else (DNS, Samba File/Print, Web Serving,
FTP, VPN, etc.). I also have a box running Mandrake 8.0, which I would like to
