Hi,
Is there any way to quickly test if a set of basic block collectively
dominate another basic block?
Thanks

An update on the DominatorTree and incremental dominators
...The RFC that explains the motivations and plans
can be found here:
http://lists.llvm.org/pipermail/llvm-dev/2017-June/114045.html .
Here’s a short summary of what changed upstream since posting it:
-
We switched from the Simple Lengauer-Tarjan algorithm for computing
dominators to Semi-NCA, which is a bit faster in most cases. Although it is
possible to construct a CFG that triggers the pathological quadratic
complexity of Semi-NCA, we weren’t able to observe it in practice.
-
DomTreeNodes now automatically store their level (depth) in the tree,
which is always up-to-...

Stepwise Multiple Regression
Dear R,
I am using stepwise multiple glm to select a subset of variables using the step command. My question is how do you calculate the percentage variance for each parameter in the reduced model. An example of my code thus far is,
fit<-glm(Abalone~offset(Area)+Sessile invertebrates+Bare rock+ NCA + Encrusting red algae, family = poisson ())
step(fit)
fit1<-glm(Abalone~offset(Area)+Bare rock+NCA+Encrusting red algae, family=poisson())
Thanks in advance

Can DTrace display non-instrumented function argument counts and types?
Is it possible to use DTrace to display the number of arguments and their types for userland or kernel functions that are not explicitly instrumented or documented by their authors? We''re talking about functions provided by Veritas VxVM/VxFS and the like, and for example, we might want to try tracing I/Os from App => VxFS => VxVM => ssd driver to see where I/Os get aggregated or

OPLOCKS....
Hi, I have an application under Access that is running dead slow. I've
done some testing and it appears that Access really likes to use OPLOCKS which
of course Samba does not support.
Is there any work underway to get Samba to support OPLOCKS? I know they are
difficult to implement but I'm faced with a decisions now to buy an NT box
(Ugh!) or do a lot of messing around to get this

TukeyHSD for repeated measures aov ?
Hi all,
I search the archive for finding a simple
solution for using TukeyHSD with a multistratum
aov result (a repeated emasure anova). The Question have
been asked but I've found no clear answer.
res<-aov(y~Fa*Fb+Error(Subject/(Fa*Fb)) )
I think that the problem is that res is an
aovlist object instead of the "aov" object required by TukeyHSD.
Is there an easy solution to
