Printer Queue control
I am setting up samba as a print server on a FreeBSD machine. I would like the users to be able to control the print queue by using the Pause option in Windows NT. newbie desperate for help
I just installed Samba for the first time. Installed and setup like a dream. Unfortunately, I can't login to save my life. The server appears in the Net. No automatic refresh?
Hi! I've been struggling with this install of Samba 2.0.4b on Linux/x86 2.0.36. All of the client machines run Windows NT 4, SP 3. I'm exporting /tmp as pub, and if I right click in the folder and create a new folder, it doesn't show up until I go to 'view' and 'refresh'. If I delete something, it doesn't go away until I refresh. Why? Output of testparm:

samba handles nt logon restrictions wrong
we use samba as member servers with security=domain pointing towards a WinNT4 PDC. accounts that have workstation logon restrictions are unable to connect to samba shared ressources but are able to connect to windows nt shared ressources as they should. normally, workstation logon restriction should deny only interactive logons. the 2.0.5 logfile entry:
