centos6 not using /etc/gdm/custom.conf
In CentOS5 you were able to create a server section in /etc/gdm/custom.conf such as
[server-Standard]
name=Standard server
command=/usr/bin/Xorg -br -audit 4 -s 15
chooser=false
handled=true
flexible=true
priority=0
After this change, Xorg would run with the -br -audit 4 -s 15 options.
Unfortunately in CentOS6 this is not the case. It completely ignores anything put into custom.conf as far

Combining numeric vs numeric & numeric vs factor graphs into one ps/pdf file
Dear R community,
xyplot (lattice) has been great in displaying tons of data for my research.
I have used the following two xyplot commands (with example dataframe) to
create two separate postscript/pdf files with respect to the variable "acft" and
subset "status":

Extracting Coefficients from the AEC
Hello,
I am new to this forum and have done my best to search for my answer before emailing, but have been unsuccessful. I have an application where I would like to utilize the speex AEC library for canceling hybrid echo. I thought it would be useful to save the coefficients of the filter for reuse, especially since the characteristics of the echo path will not vary. The specific application for

Extracting Coefficients from the AEC
Steve U.,
Thanks for the quick response. I will look into OSLEC for the Hybrid case. With regards to using the
last known good set of coefficients for re-use, I am assuming that any changes in the echo path would
be minimal to none (in the hybrid case of course) and therefore if my system was reset, only a small
amount of convergence would be needed if at all. Of course I am basing my

Transfer of files
I am sending files from a 4.1.X SunOs machine to a Sun-Fire Solaris 8 with
D-2 in an attempt to upgrade our systems. I moved 0ne f/s successfully
containing ~ 450 M. I am now trying to move a file system of ~ 6 G. I get
the output of make_list and expand file_list to 4000 bytes. It shows the
moving of approx 4000 files but none are moved and the sending machine stops
at the same file each

2.5.5
I have been having the same problem as many that if files are to many rsync
locks up and goes no further. In the latest list an admin said he was not
having the issue with 2.5.5. Can you tell me where I can get the source for
this so I can try it for my systems. Thanks
