Importing into rc.firewal rules
I have a grown list of IPs that I am "deny ip from ###.### to any". Infected machines, hackers, etc.. Is there a way to have this list outside of rc.firewall and just read it in?

Cisco 7905 can't register
My Cisco 7905 can't register with Asterisk (1.0.7-BRIstuffed-0.2.0-RC7k on Debian stable). It could, however, register with another installation of Asterisk and the settings on the phone (apart from the SIP proxy address) haven't changed since then. Samba stops working after moving machines
A client changed offices. Upon connecting the machines at the new location samba is not working. In particular I am getting an error: Workgroup is not accessible. You may not have permissions to use this network resource. Network path is not found. How to monitoring activity on a card?
My setup 4.9 stable with IPFW. Machine acts as gateway for two machines. What are my options on monitoring activity on my external card? This morning I noticed my DSL modem activity light is blinking non-stop. Looking at /var/log/ don't see anything suspicious. I feel tempted to add "log" to all my ipfw pass rules, but wonder if there isn't a better way. I am mostly concerned
