2.6.31 xenified kernel - not ready for production
Hi,
I just want to know if somebody use 2.6.31.4 xenified kernel (aka
OpenSUSE) in production?
We have been testing it on new Nehalem Xeon server for few weeks w/o
any problem.
But as soon we tried it on production machine - after several
production domUs started - hard OS failure.
We had to switch back to 2.6.18.8 - xen stock kernel.

lustre 1.8.3 upgrade observations
...t; is not clear.
It has been confirmed (see below) that tunefs.lustre is optional when no parameters are changed.
So we decided to just carry on with the mounting of the partitions which eventually worked as expected.
Thanks and Regards

Stability issues since moving to 4.6 - Kernel paging request bug + VM left in null state
Since moving from 4.4 to 4.6, I've been seeing an increasing number of
stability issues on our hypervisors. I'm not clear if there's a singular
root cause here, or if I'm dealing with multiple bugs.
One of the more common ones I've seen, is a VM on shutdown will remain in
the null state and a kernel bug is thrown:

Xen 4.0 on Debian - Kernel 2.6.32.8 with L7-Filter
Hi All
Is it possible to add the l7 patch http://l7-filter.sourceforge.net/ to the
Xen Kernel Tree.
I want to make sure this will not cause any problems with the system.
I also wonder if http://www.linuximq.net/ kernel patch is also compatible.
If someone can advise this it will be great
Thanks
Sassy

Hi Paul,
Maybe you can give some help here:
I'm trying to compile and build the debian source file

Howerver every time I'm trying to compile it, using ./configure of
dpkg-buildpackage -rfakeroot -us -uc I get errors like this:
