NAT solutions
I know that NAT is something no one really likes to talk about, but does
anyone know how work with it elegantly? There are many providers which deal
with it on a daily basis in fact they cater to it, is this possible to do
with asterisk or does it require other exotic setups? I even know of a
provider which uses asterisk with many different types of devices, and they
handle all NAT config on

Asterisk to sip client behind Firewall/NAT - can call but cannot receive calls ?
Hi,
I have following setup:
BT100 ---- Firewall/nat 1 (www.ipcop.org) ---- Internet ----Firewall/nat2
(Vigor) ---- Asterisk .
I'd like to use BT100 as local extension to Asterisk. I've done simple setup
and BT100 can call Asterisk and place outgoing calls. However I cannot set
him to qualify, cause it is claimed as unreachable.
I have port redirection at Firewall 1 (to 5060 and rtp 5004 t...

Improving loop performance
R-users,
I have the following piece of code which I am trying to run on a dataframe (aga2) with about a half million records. While the code works, it is extremely slow. I've read some of the help archives indicating that I should allocate space to the p1 and ags1 vectors, which I have done, but this doesn't seem to improve speed much. Would anyone be able to provide me with advice on

Help needed with IAX behind NAT
Hi All,
I know, IAX is NAT friendly, but... I have a problem running gnophone from a
box behind NAT firewall.
I can register gnophone with * through NAT, but when I try to make a call it
instantly disconnects. CLI
iax show peers command tells me that peer is unreachable. However this peer
is registred. Gnophone also tells me that it is registred.
It seems that registration handshake has
