Building Speex for ARM64
...> Has anyone attempted to build the Speex codec for ARM64? If so, could you please share the build instructions or some references detailing what scripts need to be updated. I don't have access to any ARM64 hardware, but you might want to try --disable-neon, see: http://vlc-commits.videolan.narkive.com/c0HeLkfQ/contribs-disable-speex-neon-on-aarch64 Best, Tristan

Truncated print jobs - MS-DOS clients
...Everyone, Having problem wuth truncated print jobs, I'm looking for help: - New server with Samba 4.4.3 compiled from source, Linux Centos 7.2 x86_64; - with patched source3/smbd/reply.c to avoid truncated smbd replies to old clients, as provided by Jeremy here: http://samba-technical.samba.narkive.com/g3YL4vmY/dos-clients-slow-on-samba-4-1-7-bug-10422 (works perfect, thanks!) - Several Win10, Win7, WinXP and a few MS-DOS 6.22 clients; - All shares are xfs filesystems (ext4 avoided, as MS-DOS clients suffer from infinite repeated dir filename) - With 1 ipp raw queue printer shared by Samba...

Openups patch proposal
Hello, I have an openups2 ups. It works very well with nut, except two things: 1) It keeps sending a 'libusb_get_string: invalid argument' message to the log; 2) It does not report any command. Following http://nut-upsdev.alioth.debian.narkive.com/bmJyFFkO/libusb-get-string-invalid-argument, I was able to fix the error message using the attached patch. I do not know how ot fix the second point, but it is not really important (it could be convenient). Regards, Alphonse. -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was...

Adding user to group doesn't propagate?
...n't do anything more than try to describe how to circumvent > this non-bug :) I got bitten by this again. I added uses to a newly created group, but the member server never sees the new membership. This time I googled and found this thread from 2014 on the first hit; https://samba.samba.narkive.com/eqkNlbnm/new-group-membership-not-taken-into-account-on-member-servers Exactly the same problem. So I tried this; service winbind stop rm /var/cache/samba/netsamlogon_cache.tdb service winbind start Suggested by Hans-Kristian Bakke. And low and behold, the user immediately got the...

dcerpc endpoint servers?
Hi! Is there a list of dcerpc endpoint servers with their explanation somewhere? I found a 9-years-old thread on this list (replied by Rowland), https://samba.samba.narkive.com/AyDt3e7L/4-4-1-wiki-explanation-dcerpc-endpoint-servers which basically says there's no documentation about this. Has anything been changed during these years? In particular, I see numerous restarts of rpcd_classic and rpcd_winreg on our "famous" anonymous read-only samba server,...

[Bug 1177] New: Export 'ct_zone' field.
....8.txt My employer, Nutanix, would really like to use this so that we can distinguish between vlans for the same 5-tuple (src IP, src port, dest IP, dest port, protocol). History of the zone concept: - some discussion about using namespaces to solve 5-tuple collisions: http://netdev.vger.kernel.narkive.com/tg0lEdAG/connection-tracking-and-vlan - somewhere along the way, Patrick McHardy mentions the idea of "conntrack zones" - This the RFC (2010): https://lwn.net/Articles/370152/ -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. -------------- next part ----...
