TrackPopupMenuEx not fully implemented
hi,
running of some application reports the error
"fixme:menu:TrackPopupMenuEx not fully implemented". i guess i should
copy some native Dll's into the 'windows' directory to fix this error,
ain't i right? if so, what Dll i should exactlly copy?
and, i also want to know if i hope wine works better, what's the
collection of Dlls's you guys often copy native

How to resolve font problem?
i am running a dictionary software ( merriam-webster ), but it can not
display some pronunciation characters. so i think i need to override
some fonts, but dont know how to. i've removed all files in
/usr/share/wine/fonts and ~/.wine/driver_c/windows/fonts, and i copied
ms-windows fonts into ~/.wine/driver_c/windows, but nothing changed.
can anyone help me? thanks.

Accessing files on a domain-controled network
hi,
i am new to samba and it seemed that samba documents mainly focus on
how to setup a linux box as a samba server. but i am now sitting in a
linux box and looking for a easy way to access a shared file folder on
a domain-controled network. sorry for my no patience to read every
part of the document since i have to let this job done in today.

Confusion about Dll Overriding
the winecfg confused me about DLL overriding. In the 'libraries' tab,
if i specified a Dll file name and click 'Add', how does Wine know
where to load the native file when need? does it mean i also have to
copy the native file into the "c:\windows\system[32]" directory? if
so, why i have to bother with the winecfg, why not directlly copy
files into the

No "system32" directory. ( to run Merrian-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary )
i just installed wine and want to use the "Merrian-Webster's
Collegiate Dictionary". the installation of this on-line dictionary
seemed okay, but when we went to launch it, it failed and reported
following error:

A Serial port program failed
i am trying to run a mobile phone communication program which used to
run on Windows and access my mobie phone's contact book via RS232
serial communication. after i installed and run in Wine, it popup the
main screen but soon halt. the folloing message printed on the
console:
