Measure network bandwidth per process
Hi, Is there a way to measure network bandwidth per process in CentOS Linux release 7.6.1810 (Core) using any utility? I was reading about nethogs but it does not have the option to run it in daemon mode so that we can take a look at historical data to figure out the process which was consuming high network bandwidth instead it is a good tool for Live monitoring. Please suggest. Thanks in

I recently plugged in Phone to my TDM400P Card to test out something I mostly use sip phones to interface with *. All of sudden I'm getting lot of line static noise coming of the card is there any settings I should look at or anything I need to do on the command line at this point I'm open to any ideas I'm running 0.7.1 on Redhat 9.0 machine. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

TIP for broken ARIN whois
This works for me on Centos 5.6. It may assist newcomers to the Linux world of Centos. whois 51.51.51.51 produces a normal and conventional display of data. However since ARIN, the North American registrar of IP addresses, "modernised" its WHOIS processing, a query to whois 64.64.64.64 will produce a one line summary of possible matches, which always includes ARIN, but omits the

Has anyone really looked at the costs for Astricon. But the hotel costs. $111.00 USD per night.. come on guys give me a break. I will not be staying at that hotel. I can rent a car and stay near the air port for almost half that. In addition from what I have been told their will be no shuttle service from the Airport to the hotel. Rails resources, blogs, forums, etc?
Hi everyone, Already in the span of a week or so I''ve learned exponentially from your collective minds. So, first off, thanks for being such a good community. In addition to everything here i''m wondering what the top RoR-related blogs are - abundant with content and frequently updated. Are there any that would be consensus among rails enthusiasts? The same with web-based

0.19.2?
Hi all, Should I put out a 0.19.2 release before I get started on the significant amount of parser work I''ll be doing in the next few weeks? I''ve fixed some significant bugs that exist in 0.19.1, and I''d plan on fixing the most recently submitted bugs before the release. -- I worry that the person who thought up Muzak may be thinking up something else. --Lily

drop manitu.net
listadmin, Can you PLEASE, PLEASE find *any* other blacklist than manitu? This asshole's method was ok a dozen years ago; these days, with hosting sites hosting tens or hundreds of thousands of domains, with too many running Windows, and so infected and sending out spam. They then send all mail via one mailhost, with the result that those of us with *no* spam coming out are frequently

tcpdump loses lots of packets
Hi folks, I've got a Dell R320 running CentOS 7, and a 10G NIC. I'm running a DNS server on it, for testing. As part of my testing, I'm attempting to capture all the DNS queries arriving on the server, using tcpdump. However, tcpdump's performance is abysmal, and it loses lots of the packets. Here's the output when I stop the capture: # tcpdump -nn -i p1p1 -w
