Ok. I understand and I think I've forgotten any step when I had mounted
'king'. My bad!
I've set 'king' IP as the only namesever on resolv.conf and I've got a new
Kerberos ticket with 'kinit' command, but when I've tried to update dns
entries with 'samba_dnsupdate' I've receive "dns_tkey_negotiategss: TKEY is
unacceptable". I've checked '/usr/local/samba/private/dns.keytab' a...

using parameter with puppet dashboard and site.pp
...declare
parameters using dashboard as the ENC.
So I have a module which does this:
class resolver ($domain_name=$::domainname,
$search_path=$::searchpath,
$name_servers=$::nameservers, ){
if ($name_servers == undef) {
fail(''ensure at least the namesever parameter is defined'')
}
...
The 3 global parameters can be passed in using dashboard ENC. I have a
requirement to add a name_server parameter, which inherits the
$::nameservers parameter.
How would I use a global parameter if I wanted to specify classes in the
site.pp file?

Bind9 doesn't updated - TSIG error with server: tsig verify failure
Hi Rowland,
I've added 'dns update command' on global section of smb.conf file and I've
configured namesever on '/etc/resolv.conf' as 127.0.0.1 (I've tried with
'kings' IP address too), but I don't know if this has worked. I've seen
some dns updates errors on 'systemctl status samba-ad-dc' though the same
command has returned status 'Active (running)'. And I'...

Samba AD DC with BIND DNS on separate server
Hello Folks,
I see from the documentation that it is possible to use BIND9 as a drop-in replacement for the internal SAMBA4 DNS service...
However, I would like to know if I can keep the BIND9 DNS server on a seperate server from de one that SAMBA4 is running on (AD DC).
If this is possible, how would one go about achieving this?
I've got an existing DNS infrastructure that I do not
