Bug#564693: logcheck: should suggest/recommend nail
Package: logcheck Version: 1.3.5 Severity: minor Hi, reading logcheck source it seems that it requires nail for MAILATTACH to work, however it is not suggested/recommended. (JFTR it is debatable if nail is appropriate or something else should be used) thanks, filippo -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (990, 'unstable'), (500,

{ggplot2} Adding Mean to (grouped) Boxplot.
Hi R Users, I am using following R code to plot a "grouped boxplot". I'm hoping if I can add MEAN to these boxplots. Data is copied below and attached as text file. install.packages("ggplot2") library(ggplot2) dta<-read.table("Sample.txt",header=T) attach(dta) p <- ggplot(dta, aes(factor(month), nail)) p + geom_boxplot(aes(fill = factor(trt))) Data: month

Voice mail messages aren't sent to e-mail
Voice-mail messages aren't sent to e-mail address. I have two Asterisk servers, first one is upgraded from 1.0.RC2 to 1.0.9, and second one is from 1.0.7 to 1.0.9. Both Asterisk have EXACTLY same "voicemail.conf" configuration, but second Asterisk don't sending voice mail messages through e-mail! I'm using almost default "voicemail.conf" with just one mailbox

sizeof(DIFlags)
Hi list, Is there a standards based reason why the DIFlags enum is set to uint32_t[1]? I am sure my DWARF-std-reading-fu is not up to snuff and so I cannot seem to find it. The reason I ask is that we are running out of space for our own DIFlags and would like to nail this down before deciding on an approach. Thanks! Sohail [1] The code in question:

Looking for common dtrace scripts for NFS top talkers
We started seeing odd behaviour with clients somehow hammering our ZFS-based NFS server. Nothing is obvious from mpstat/iostat/etc. I''ve seen mention before of NFSv3 client dtrace scripts, and I was wondering if there ever was one for the server end, displaying top talkers, writes/reads, or locations of such to nail down abusive clients short of using snoop/tcpdump to nail down via

High load
Hi Is there a way to nail down the issue of high load on a server basically trying to understand the reason behind high load at a specific time period. I use top command but it does not have history. Nagios reports saying "*[04-25-2012 10:11:00] SERVICE ALERT: dev;LOAD;WARNING;HARD;3;WARNING - load average: 6.88, 6.36, 5.71"* * * Please help me understand. Regards Kaushal

Flaky graphics - need help nailing down the cause
This morning I noticed that my (new in July) monitor was behaving strangely. At first, it was odd parts of web page graphics that didn't show up unless I scrolled up and down in the window, and then they weren't displayed with any consistency. Then I noticed that the screensaver failed to appear (computer was locked, but graphics never showed on the monitor). I tried running mplayer to

Telling Apache Not to Send a Sub-Directory to the Cluster
Howdy, I am using Apache 2.2 and Mongrel with great success. I have a mod_rewrite question and I am NO expert. I think it''s really simple but I haven''t nailed it. I was hoping someone here could help. I''m using Apache conf right out of the cluster example from the Mongrel site. I have a directory under my apps ''public'' directory called

Hardware requirements question
I've read through the Wiki, I know its hard to nail down hardware requirements because it really depends on what you are going to do. I'm very new to Asterisk, haven't even read my Asterisk for Dummies book yet (its in the mail). Can you tell me if this sounds sane? We are planning on using a Dell 933Mhz dual CPU server, with 1GB of ram for our Trixbox setup. We will have 7-10

SIP Debugging to separate log file
Hello, I'm working with our SIP provider to nail down some call quality issues we're having, and they've asked me to provide SIP debug log files from our asterisk server. Is there a way to make asterisk 1.4 output only SIP debugging to a specific log file? Or it is best just to use tcpdump? Thank you! -- Jason Martin Metrix Matrix, Inc. 785 Elmgrove Road, Building 1, Rochester, NY

x2go on CentOS6

Thanks, Akemi, you have hit the nail on the head! The spurious error message was caused by a statement in .cshrc that created output, a stray unescaped exclamation mark in an alias definition. And that with me preaching to my

Cisco 7940 Question
Hi all, I know this is a stupid question, but it is one I've been trying answer for quite some time. Exactly how many simultaneous calls can the Cisco 7940 have, considering you can be talking to one, and have XXX others on hold? Using SIP, is XXX only 1? I've found documents in various places indicating different values in regard to the max number of calls the phone can handle.

Sessionbased traffic on NANO?
I use the wellknown nano setup (by Christoph Simon) on a few sites with success. From time to time a user approaches me with problems that seems to originate from the fact that only trafic to the samt DST IP on the net will get out the same link. The problem happens with traffic from applications that contact different IPs in the "same session". An example is Anarchy Online, where

xapian with MinGW - solved
Hi, I got this issue nailed out. :-D The problem was with the zlib package offered by MinGW. _Never_ use zlib-1.2.3-MSYS-1.0.11.tar.bz2 package, _it's broken_! Instead, download the pre-compiled version of zlib from zlib.net, and use that to build Xapian with MinGW on Windows. Regards, Adi.

sent-mail
Im trying to nail down an issue with some users sent-mail. I have had a few users complaining that their emails are not being copied to their sent-mail folder. Im not sure how widespread it is, mainly because most people dont check their sent-mail. Im running Dovecot version 1.0.7, and yes I know its outdated, but I have had zero problems thus far. Im grepping through my logfiles and

Self-referential many-many joins with :through
I thought I had this nailed but.. now I''m seeing spots.. I''ve included my models below, feel free to ignore them. I''m really just after an example that works. I couldnt find one on the wiki... which is fair enough considering Ricks patch: http://dev.rubyonrails.org/changeset/4022 that fixed them only went through 5 days ago.. Cheers -henster
