running specs on JRuby w/nailgun
Hi all,
I know this is probably more of a JRuby question but I''m guessing that
people on this list may have gone down this path before. At work we are
starting a new project using JRuby. The startup speed for testing an
app is very painful. Nailgun helps a lot with that. It only helps with
the slow startup time of JRuby though and does not address the use case
of having gems preloaded like Spork does for MRI. We would like to have
all of our gems (esp Rails) preloaded in Nailgun so we can run our tests
against it with minimal startup ti...

Apt should --purge?
Hi all,
Please excuse me if someone has already offered this, but I think the
Apt provider should, in addition to -y and -q, also do --purge. This
will remove config files and keeps /etc cleaner on the whole.
Just a suggestion. Great product and keep up the good work etc.

Installing packages
Hi,
I am new with Puppet and I am very glad using it, but I have a basic
doubt, when I use puppet to install packages to a debian machine with:
debian:/etc/puppet# cat manifests/packages/lm-sensors
package { lm-sensors:
ensure => installed
}
Does it run apt-get update before installing the package? If not how is
the best way to do it?
How Puppet deals with packages installations that

SSL Questions
Hi,
I''ve just started using puppet and I have a couple of questions about the SSL capabilities.
1) Can I use my own certs or do I have to use the ones provided by puppetmaster?
2) How can I set the "Not Before" time to be now instead of a few hours from now?
Thanks!

Wildcard expansion in remote files or recursion?
Hi all,
[Please CC me in replies, I am not subscribed to this list.]
First of all, thanks for puppet! It is a very nice tool and I''m in the (slow)
process of using it to manage my new Xen-based virtual server farm with it.
Most of the "simple" tasks worked well so far, and I may be able to add a few
recipies to the Wiki when I find time to do so.
However, is there any way

[PATCH v3 00/11] xen: Initial kexec/kdump implementation
Hi,
This set of patches contains initial kexec/kdump implementation for Xen v3.
Currently only dom0 is supported, however, almost all infrustructure
required for domU support is ready.
Jan Beulich suggested to merge Xen x86 assembler code with baremetal x86 code.
This could simplify and reduce a bit size of kernel code. However, this solution
requires some changes in baremetal x86 code. First of
