...o someone from the Navy Reserves about how and if we can use RedHat for a project we are talking about. He leans toward using SuSE since it has encryption, where I prefer RedHat for other reasons. Will we ever see such support in RedHat? ...can boot it up in rescue mode and get to an EXT3 partition for repair purposes if, need be yet? I am not happy with ReiserFS as partition magic does not recognize its partition layout. I am waiting to implement EXT3 when it becomes available. 2GB of Waste? How can it be?
...formatted the partition with ReiserFS, and did a "df -h" I got 16GB of space! Now the partition was setup to be 16GB via fdisk, so 16GB is correct. However, why does EXT3 loose 2GB of space? The journals cannot be that big!?!
