Parsing key-value files
.... Will I have to write Ruby code in the controller of the application to
parse a file? Is there an existing key-value file parsing method in Ruby? Google
didn''t help much in answering these questions.

Version Number of a Package
...mation out from R, or should I parse it out from the
source-code files? Ideally I would like a function like this:
myVerNum <- Version(package.names);
Any guidance, direction, or suggestions are very much appreciated!
