Hardware compatibility - Dell Inspiron 6400 or thinkpad t60?
Hi,
Since a while I am curious to buy a machine with hardware virtualization
support. Finally, they start to become available here in Germany.
So, I want to get such a machine. I want to buy a dell inspiron 6400 or
an IBM thinkpad T60 which are said to have such a mobile processor with
hardware virtualization - does anybody have experiences with these?

Dvgrab command
Recently I tried to live broadcast the video of our workshop. but i was
failed.
I applied the following command
dvgrab --format raw - | ffmpeg2theora -f dv -x 80 -y 64 -o /dev/stdout - |
oggfwd myvps 8000 hackme /live.ogg
I was able to configure video size but unable to configure audio bitrate.
it was taking 60 kbps for audio and 20 kbps for video.
I want 20 kbps for audio...

Where are the ticks on grid.xaxis?
...ehavior of these functions seems to work well.
The problem with this strategy is that I cannot figure out how to "recover"
the positions of these ticks when you do NOT specify the 'at' argument.
For example:
grid.newpage()
pushViewport(plotViewport(c(5, 4, 2, 2), name = "myvp"))
# This draws a default xaxis
a = grid.xaxis(name = "myX")
# What are the tick marks?
grid.get("myX")$at # NULL
# But if I specify an 'at' argument...
grid.edit("myX", at = seq(0, 1, length = 10))
# ...I can get at the position of the ticks
