[LLVMdev] Adding a custom GC safe point creation phase
...advantage of metadata. The reason I add this custom safe
point creation method is because it's difficult for a front-end to pass
custom information to the GC framework. And I think metadata could help us
in this situation. Ideally, I'd like to get to a point where we can write:
15 = load %MyPointer* %2 !safepoint
And the GCStrategy would find this metadata information in the
MachineInstruction (because the safe points are created based on
MachineInstruction). This solution looks very much like the !nontemporal
metadata.
Unfortunately, it looks like metadata are not passed down to
MachineI...

smb_ldap_setup_connection failed with blank user Password
Hi,
i have a succesfully PDC Setup on a Novell/Suse OES1 SP2 Server with
eDirectory/LDAP and Samba Version 3.0.26a-0.7-1616-SUSE-SLES9.
Only Problem is, a User with a blank Password can't be authenticated on
a Domain Member Server (Users with Passwords doesn't have this Problem).
A Samba Level 10 Log show me this:

troubles with R CMD check and examples under Ubuntu gutsy
Dear listers,
I was used to package pgirmess under Windows with everything OK, but,
for the first time, I had a trial this afternoon on Ubuntu 7.10 gutsy (I
have a double boot computer and work more and more under unix) and R
2.7.0. Everything went OK except this:
sudo R CMD check pgirmess
.....
* checking examples ... ERROR
Running examples in 'pgirmess-Ex.R' failed.

2.4 to 3.0 i found this Infos in the samba Log:
