WinXP. Samba and Router connection problem
...a-2.2.8 installed on Slackware 9.0. I'm able to use
smbclient from this linux machine to access all the services defined in
smb.conf.
I installed the WinXP_SignOrSeal.reg patch to my WinXP Pro machine.
When I attempt to access samba services from the WinXP PC, it fails:
c:> net use L: \\MYLINUX\tmp
System error 53 has occurred.
The network path was not found.
I have both the WinXP Pro machine and the Linux machine connected to a
LinkSys Router, which is connected to a cable modem.
Does the router require any special forwarding configurations for samba?
Do I need to do anything speci...

[LLVMdev] How to call C++ code from LLVM
...f MY_LIB_HEADER
#define MY_LIB_HEADER
void printString(char* X);
#endif
///////////////////////////////////////
Normally in C++ I do this:
g++ -fPIC -c mylib.c
g++ -shared -o libmylib.so mylib.o
(and after that :
g++ -Wall -g -o prog.exe prog.c -I./ -lmylib -L./
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/home/mylinux/Desktop/test ./prog.exe)
My program I compile like this:
$ llvm-as -f prog.ll
$ llc -march=x86-64 prog.bc -f
but I have error after:
$ g++ -o prog prog.s -I./ -L./ -lmylib

You can call them the same way a C++ file compiled with llvm-g++ would
call them. Essentially, it's complicated enough that you probably
don't want to do it for any interface of

[LLVMdev] How to call C++ code from LLVM
Hi,
How can I call C++ libraries (LLVM & Qt for example) from a language that's
implemented on top of LLVM?
Thanks,
Jules

Multiple login failures problem
I am yet another person who is having a problem with Win98 clients
needing to make several attempts before successfully logging in
to our Samba box. I get the "broken pipe" message in the smb.log
just like everyone else.
This did not seem to be a problem until we got a phat broadband
connection. All the Windows boxes are set to point to our ISP's DNS.
I am not running DNS on the
